A close friend of mine at the time just had got sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. I was asking him about how he was dealing with his situation. He was accepting of it, but he said that there were people that he would never talk to again in life. That conversation stuck with me, and I put together a track and wrote a song about it. That's how it is sometimes. No matter the situation you have people who are so cool, but when something falls apart, it can really put a huge line in between them to the point where no one is talking to each other.
